
DARDOS AL ESPACIO
2024
Dardos Al Espacio is a collective project between Pedro Mantecón, Samual Alasraki and Carlos Mier. With three guitars: acoustic guitar with nylon strings, acoustic guitar with metal strings and electric guitar, the trio aims to play live songs composed by each member, either previously with one of the side projects of each one and readapted for this ensemble, or, composed specifically for Dardos Al Espacio.
Pedro has played in Capital Sur for over a decade, Samuel in Capital Sur and Malamar, while Carlos Mier has played in Build A Vista, Lemon Mint and Malamar. In Dardos Al Espacio, the members play adaptations of songs from these projects.

BUILD A VISTA
2015- PRESENT
Build a Vista is a desert or psychedelic rock band formed in Mexico City in 2015 among a growing scene of musicians with similar sounds. The band is made up of lifelong friends Pablo Olea, Carlos Mier, Diego Mier and Julián Bayod. Build a Vista finds its sound and style in the rehearsal room and is then sculpted and curated in the recording studio.
In their live show the instruments and lead vocals are rotated among the band members, creating an always enveloping atmosphere. Their self-titled album was published in September 2017, produced, recorded and mixed by the band at the “La Vista” studios in Mexico City.
On October 6, 2018 the band participated in the Hipnosis festival and has shared the stage with bands such as King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Boogarins, Allah-Las, San Pedro El Cortes, Las Robertas among others. In 2019 he performed at the Hipnosis showcase opening for renowned international acts StereoLab and Kikagaku Moyo.
Build a Vista released "Los Días Que No Existen" their second full-length album in 2022 independently.

LEMON MINT
2014-2024
Electronic act performed live with guitars, synthesizers, percussion, Octatrack, vocals and vocoder. The beat is inspired by low-tempo house but the sound has been transformed into a dark and sexy groove. The French lyrics describe scenes of an insatiable character, like flashbacks of memory.
The French-Mexican trio has recorded three full-length albums: "L'alchemist", "Glass" and the most recent "La Rose".
With more than three million streams on Spotify, Lemon Mint is a precise example of the cosmopolitan culture intrinsic to the profoundly beautiful Mexico City.

Malamar
2015 - 2019
Malamar is a psychedelic reggae quintet made up of Samuel Alazraki, Julian Bayod, Banjo Gabayet, Ricardo Beard and Carlos Mier. Two guitars, bass, drums, organ, piano and four voices are the orchestration of this out of the ordinary reggae project. Their songs tell stories that expose the human condition in Spanish, French and English. The melodies are powerful and hypnotic and the band's overall sound has a sweet balance of rock and reggae.
A friend of the band described Malamar as: '...if Jim Morrison and Bob Marley had a son, that son would be Malamar.'
The band from Mexico City has shared the stage with artists such as Hollie Cook, Quantic, Fobia, Kinky, Enjambre, Los Daniels, Siddharta, Costera, Costa Felina, Burghost, Build a Vista, Joaquín García, Bienñeros, among others.
In 2019 they released their first album entitled "Al Pairo".
